Video transcript:
Hi everybody, we are here with Alfredo Cardillo from HCA. How are you today?
Interviewer
I’m very good. This is such a grand day. Thank you so much!
Alfredo Cardillo
We are so happy that you’re here with us, and what do you think about the grand opening?
Interviewer
It’s tremendous. I mean, this is really a mark, not only for New York City but for the state, really for the country, in terms of how to really approach home care, how to support the staff, how to integrate the community, and what you’re doing because home care is really about the community; it’s about the patients, the workers and what most of all, caring for people in their homes.
Alfredo Cardillo
Exactly. I love that! And what are your thoughts about the initiative that they’re having in this building regarding what they’re doing to help with the mental health of their patients and caregivers?
Interviewer
Yeah, it’s fantastic, it really recognizes that it’s a whole person that you’re working to support, whether it’s the patient or the workers who work so hard and give so much of themselves to every one of their patients and like I said, I think that this is a model initiative for every organization to look at and to emulate, and I’m hoping that officials, local officials, state, federal, recognize the need to support this kind of work because it doesn’t happen by accident. It happens with a lot of hard work and vision, and the vision needs to be supported.
Alfredo Cardillo
Exactly! Thank you so much for being here for being with us.
Interviewer
It’s a pleasure. Congratulations!
Alfredo Cardillo
