Hi everybody! So, we are here with Gautam Nangia from Healthfirst. How are you?

I’m doing great! Having a wonderful time here today at the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for Emerest and Royal Care. It’s just beautiful!
Gautam Nangia
Thank you so much for being here! And, what do you think about the grand opening?
Interviewer
It has been phenomenal so far. I mean, number one, the location is tremendous, it’s in the heart of South Bronx which is a much-needed and underserved community, and we’ve just had such a great collaborative effort here. I see, right across the street the police force has been joining into being a part of this community too. So, it’s great what this organization is doing.
Gautam Nangia
Amazing! What do you think this organization doing for the mental health of the caregivers and the seniors? What do you think about that?
Interviewer
I think, number one, the applications that are being used here are far beyond anything I’ve seen in the industry. It truly does connect the member or the prospect out in the community directly with what’s happening in real-time. The way that the application allows members to learn exercises, learn breathing control, do yoga, Cherry yoga if they’re not that mobile. It is just such a great interactive way to really connect with those members who are underserved and need the most support and help.
Gautam Nangia
Do you think that this is something that we need more here, in New York, and in other communities?
Interviewer
Well, I think this is a launching ground for what should be expanded to all New Yorkers. We’re dealing primarily with a senior population which is the most elderly and frail. If we can expand this to not only the member base that’s currently being served by Emerest Connect and by Royal Care and allow this to expand to all New Yorkers that need that support, I think, ultimately, that’s going to better our overall community and how we interact among all generations.
