Lauren Weissberg, Director of Nursing at Emerest Connect
From a young age, Lauren Weissberg knew she wanted to help people. Lauren obtained her Bachelor of Science via an accelerated nursing program from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. From there, Lauren built up a strong skillset through years of direct hospital experience caring for patients and understanding how to work and lead a team.

We’re so happy to have you here with us! What do you think about the grand opening?

This grand opening has been absolutely amazing! We’re so excited to see the outcome and input of everyone that came in today. The studio, upstairs, it’s been absolutely incredible!
Lauren Weissberg
How do you think everything that they’re doing is going to help the community?
Interviewer
So, having this healthcare hub in the Bronx is going to really help an underserved area, the U@Perks upstairs are going to help different case managers have that relaxation time they really need. And, overall, Emerest Connect touches patients all over in the four different boroughs. So, it’s pretty incredible! It’s going to help a lot of different people.

And also it’s going to help with their mental health. What do you think about that?

Their mental health is so important! That’s why we have at Emerest Connect the psych program, the social work program which really patients find very comforting. A lot of them just want to talk to someone. So, mental health is something luckily in now that we’re talking about and it’s great to see.
